This is a KO competition for two man teams. Normally played once each month at a different course each time

Stroke play is used and player handicaps are applied to each score. Both players' scores are added together to provide a total team score

The team with the highest combined score drops out of the competition and all other teams progress to the next round.

If two teams are tied with their combined scores the team with the lowest individual score after handicaps have been applied will go through. If the teams are still tied then an additional round will have to be played between those teams

The final is played over 36 holes.
