A close call but the defending champions sneaked it by 2 strokes. An excellent repeat performance worthy of many congratulations.

Devil series round 7.
We are now down to the last two teams after Reade and Nobite were taken by the Devil last week.
The final will take place the week after next over 36 holes with the defending champions Randy and Bradthedad still looking strong.
Devil series round 6 playoff.
Phew ! things couldn't have been much tighter with some very low scoring. In the end a single shot decided the issue with Joseph and Golfsurfer just failing to keep one step away from the Devil.
Congratulations to reigning Champs Randy and Bradthedad.
Devil series round 6.
Well, the final score complicated things by producing a tie for last place between Randy, Bradthedad and Joseph and Golfsurfer.
An 18 hole playoff is set for this week. In the event of another tie the team with the lowest individual nett score will be the winners.

Devil series round 5.
This was the closest event ever with only 2 shots covering the field.
The narrow losers were Y2kcoupe and Golfertim. Tim had the highest handicap rating and this was obviously the difference.
Ric Lancaster's magnificent 51 was only just good enough to keep his team out of the Devil's clutches. Just goes to show that you can't take anything for granted in this event.
